He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Childers and Lucille Childers; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Handkins, Wallace Hughes and Vicky Bell.
He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Kay Eveland; his wife Sandy; his children, Kim Suits (Ron Rybacki) and Jim Childers (Carole); his grandchildren, Jessica Suits (Bradley Rachlin), Erin Suits, Ben Childers (Megan) and Sam Childers (Erin); his siblings, Gene Childers (Donna), Donna Handkins, Johnny Childers (Alice) and Gary Childers (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Bell and Jill Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
