He was predeceased by: his mother Iva Pauline Travelstead (Upchurch); his children, Timothy "Tim" Travelstead and Martha Raye Jamerson-Mohr; his father James Albert Travelstead; his brother Bobby Travelstead; and his former wife Shirley Travelstead.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Travelstead (Price) of Marion, IL; his daughter Shelly Jackson (Dave); his grandchildren, Ryan Hill (Elizabeth), Michelle Huth (George), Zack Jackson, Zoe Jackson, Allysann Gordon (Paul) and Milo Mohr; his brother Danny Travelstead (Diane); and his great grandchildren, Lauren, Natalie Hill, Annalyse and George Ryan Huth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
