It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jackie Dean Fletcher of Marion, Illinois, born in Johnston City, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Fletcher and Etta Fletcher (Logan); his wife Patricia "Pat" Sue Harpool; and his siblings, Cecil, Vergil, Helen, Audra, Marian, Rose and Ruby Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Mooneyham (Mike) of Carterville, IL, Susan Wilson (Neal) of Benton, IL, John Fletcher (Jenna) of Marion, IL and Amy Gischer of Benton, IL; his son-in-law Gary Gischer; his grandchildren, Chelsey Mooneyham (Shawn Johnson), Cally Long (Tyler), Macey Spell (D. J.), Caleb Wilson, Zach Wilson (Amelie), Damon Wilson (Kaitlyn), Caroline Mallow (Austin), David Fletcher, Ally Aylor (Michael) and Brady Gischer; and his great grandchildren, Laney Johnson, Hugo Wilson, Lucy Wilson and Grayson Mallow. He is also survived by great-grandchild due in August; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members and friends.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial donations be directed to the "Marion Civic Center Foundation" or "Unit 2 Baseball and Softball Parents Association" and may be mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N.
