He was predeceased by: his former spouses, Isidora "Dora" Mesas and Dora McGee; his sisters, Wanda Walker (Charles) and Jeanette Miller (Lonnie); and his brother-in-law Bob Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Barnes of Marion, IL; his daughter Judy; his son-in-law Pete Lannom of Marion, IL; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Lou Ann McGee of Patoka, IL; his son Gary McGee of Dunnellon, FL.; his grandchildren, Mandi Courson (Matt), Joshua Lannom (Jessie Peradotto), Sarah Lannom, Misty Philpot (Jim), Melissa Elliott (Mark), Cody McGee (Amber), Nathan McGee and Rachel McGee; his great grandchildren, Anthony Sieveking, Gracie, Saige, Max Philpot, Gunnar, Huck, Briggs Elliott, Rhyker and Izzadora McGee; and his pet Delilah Jane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.
