He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Soberg and Rose Soberg (Pohl); his brothers, Melvin (Dora Soberg) and Carl (Jean Soberg); and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Tanner and Ruth Womack.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Soberg of Marion, IL; his daughter Christina Allen (Soberg) of Springfield, MO; his grandson Drake Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald, Delores Tanner of Creal Springs, IL, Lyman Tanner of Marion, IL, John Womack of Marion, IL and Gloria Tanner-Sears of Marion, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members and friends.
