He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Ernest Deaton Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Deaton (Opie); his wife Mary Jane Webster; his sons, Michael Deaton (Debbie) of Christopher, IL, Greg Deaton of Marion, IL and Doug Deaton (Melinda) of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Stephanie King (Brent) of St. Louis, MO, Kelly Cameron (Todd) of Jacksonville, FL, Douglas B. Deaton (Chandler) of Marion, IL, Jessica Lenon (Chad) of Creal Springs, IL and Chelsea Duty (Chris) of Creal Springs, IL; his great grandchildren, Addisyn Lenon, Katelyn Cameron, Jaxon Lenon, Gentri Lenon, Daxton Duty, Kreed Duty, Crew Duty and Sawyer Deaton; and his sister-in-law June Webster of Marion, IL. He was also cherished by other extended family and many friends.
The family has requested for those who would prefer, memorial contributions may be made to either or both; "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital" and/or "Wright-Way Rescue" a local no kill animal shelter.
