He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph McGowan and Myrtle May McGowan (Hood); his wife Gypsy McGowan of Marion; his daughters, Cheryl Ann Rister (Ivan) of Harrisburg and Eugina Axe (David) of Goreville Three; his grandchildren, Pamela Sue Rister of Morganfield and Kentucky Savannah Jeralds; his great grandchild Kren Lee Rister Karis; his sister Melba Mausey; his son Michael Allen McGowan; his grandchildren, Ivan Rister, Jr., Timara Nichole Rister and Nicholas Shawn Rister; and his sisters, Mary Louise McGowan and Pauline Holmes. He was also cherished by Several nieces and nephews Preceded by his Parents.
