He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Lilah Olson, Sr. (Hawkins); his siblings, Philip L. Olson and Donna M. Waltrip; and his brother-in-law Art Damiani.
He is survived by: his wife Louise M. Olson; his children, Mark A. Olson (Lynne), Curtis M. Olson (Lori) and Karen L. Luebke (Kevin); his grandchildren, Anna Stefan (Lucas), Luke Olson and Brandon Olson; his siblings, Paul E. Olson (Ingrid), Fred O. Olson (Lynn) and Caryl L. Damiani; his sisters-in-law, Nicole Olson and Patricia Armstrong (John); and his aunt Phyllis Geschwind (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
