He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ray and Carmen Ray Rorick (Speck); and his brother Lanny Rorick. He is survived by: his wife June L. Rorick of Marion, IL; his children, Shawn R. Rorick (Stephanie) of Marion, IL and Jerilynn June "JJ" Gossrau (Jason) of Webster Groves, MO; his grandchildren, Larissa Rorick of Marion, IL, Ozzy Rorick of Marion, IL, William Gossrau of Webster Groves, MO and Luke Gossrau of Webster Groves, MO; his siblings, Pam Page (Richard) of Texarkana, TX and Kevin Rorick (Susan) of Jonesboro, AR; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Reynolds (Jane) of Lexington, NE and Max Reynolds (Cathy) of Lexington, NE. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cana Baptist Church (7729 IL-166, Creal Springs, IL 62922). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stanton County Cemetery.
