He is survived by: his wife Melinda B. Deaton of Marion; his son Douglas B. Deaton (Chandler) of Marion; his grandchildren, Sawyer Gray Deaton of Marion and Knox Wilder Deaton of Marion; his pet Rhett; his brothers, Michael Deaton (Debbie) of Christopher, IL and Greg Deaton of Marion; his nieces, Stephanie King (Brent) of St. Louis, MO, Kelly Cameron (Todd) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Lenon (Chad) of Marion and Chelsea Duty (Chris) of Marion; his sister-in-law Cherlyn Crees of Bloomington, IN; his nieces, Hannah, Sarah and Ava; and also, Nathalie Walker of Marion and Melanie James (Jessie) of Marion. He is also survived by other extended family friends.
