It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Darlene Walker of Marion, Illinois, born in Monroe, Iowa, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McReynolds and Minerva McReynolds (Thomasson); her siblings, Floyd McReynolds and Visa Elgin; her granddaughter Brandy Barnel (Marker); and her stepdaughter Donna Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Walker; her daughters, Judy D. Griffith of Marion, Illinois, Joanne Mahurin (John) of Holden, Missouri and Cindy Sanford of Holden; her grandchild Jerry W. Sanford of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her brother Dan McReynolds of Des Moines, Iowa; her stepdaughters, Carol Juszczyk (George) and LeeAnn Stephenson (Steve); and her grandchildren, Austin L Walker, Paul Boring Jr., Tom Marker and Jerry Sanford. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
