Donna Sue Atkisson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Sue Atkisson (Marion, Illinois), who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Harper and Mary E. Harper (Alexander); her husband Bill Atkisson; and her brother Ron Harper. She is survived by: her children, Bill (Kari Atkisson), Tim (Susan Atkisson) and Lara (Brad Myers); her grandchildren, Derek, Ryan Atkisson of Marion, IL, Connor Atkisson of Maryland Heights, MO, Tyler Atkisson of Marion, IL, Brendan Atkisson of Owasso, OK, Colin, Paige and Brooke Myers of Collinsville, OK.; and her sister Mary Jo Moore (C. W. Moore) of West Paducah, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and her very special companion.
The Atkisson family has requested, memorial contributions be made to "Hospice of Southern Illinois" or "The Alzheimer's Association" instead of customary gifts of remembrance. Memorial contributions may be mailed in care of Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court Street, Marion, IL 62959.
