David Griffin Powless Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Griffin Powless of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barnett and Emily Mary Powless (Cygnar); and his brother James Powless. He is survived by: his wife Patty Powless; his sons, Nathan Powless of Marion, IL and Nick Powless (Jessica) of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Emalyn Grayce Powless, Nikoli Griffin Powless, Jayden Speraneo and Avery Speraneo; his sisters, Linda Powless of Marion, IL and Cathy Powless (David Jeremias) of Glen Ellen, IL; his siblings-in-law, Betty, Jack Snell of Gurnee, IL, Ralph, Phyllis Walker of Marion, IL, Kathy Walker of Marion, IL and Susan Powless of Marion, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Bryan, Beth, Chris (Kimberly), Julie (Derek), Trevor, Sarah (Dave) and Jamie (Will). He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; other extended family members; and countless friends.
