It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Elsasser (Marion, Illinois), who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Elsasser and Helen Elsasser of Shawneetown; his sister Wanda (Hugh David Scates); his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Christina Scates, Tammy, Dr. Michael Blain, Kim and Chris Fromm; his wife Lorie Elsasser; his stepdaughter Cierra Francis (Chandler Francis); and his granddaughter Claire Francis.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that.
