It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Elisabeth McCoy-Walker (Marion, Illinois), born in Bois Colombes, Ile de France, who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Legat and Marthe Legat (Tabour); her former husband Leonard McCoy; her husband Earl Walker; her sister Nicole Dixon; her sons-in-law, Howard Ziegler and Robert "Bob" Steveson; and her stepchildren, Marjorie Lane, Leonard Vernon McCoy and Helena Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Ziegler of Carbondale, Daryl McCoy of West Frankfort, Joyce, Donald King of Thompsonville and Corinne Stevenson of Johnston City; her stepchildren, Bob, Joan McCoy of Stow and Onalee Roberts of Dayton, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Nicholas McCoy, Mason McCoy, Sean (Lisa King), Devin (Tammy King), Lisa (Robbie Lindhorst), Leonard King, Michelle (Efren Canizales), Jason Steveson, Jeremy (Della Steveson) and Joshua (Tori Steveson). She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces.
