He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shaw and Roberta Shaw (Laturno); his wife Doris Shaw; and his sister Carline Benton. He is survived by: his daughters, Karla Grant of Marion and Vicki Giacomelli (Steve) of Johnston City; his grandchildren, Marybeth Davie of Johnston City, Rachel Terrill (Alex) of Energy and Philip Giacomelli (Timm Gann) of Washington, MO; his great grandchildren, Gracie West, Kylie Davie, Charlie Lipe and Wilson Giacomelli; his son-in-law Ronald Grant; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Avery (Donald) and Robert McKnight.
