It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Dwight Hafeli of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Hazel; and his sister Lou Ann Tabor. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Hafeli (Van Dyke) of Marion; his children, Lance Hafeli (Kathy) of Marion, IL, Brett Hafeli (Karen) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Scott Hafeli (Toni) of Marquette, MI and Heather Richards of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Natalie Maupin (Anthony) of St. Joseph, MO, Nathan Hafeli (Sophie) of Albany, OR, Zack Hafeli (Kaitlynn) of Lafayette, TN, Brandon Hafeli (Lora) of Lafayette, TN, Katelyn Forth (Abraham) of Nashville, IL, Cody Hafeli of Belleville, IL, London Richards of Springfield, MO and Luke Richards of Springfield, MO; and his pet Tippy. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of God (1409 Broeking Rd, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
