She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Stahlhut and Geneva Stahlhut (Fries); her husband Charles E. Parton; her son Randy Parton; her brother Ronald; and her sister-in-law Denise Stahlhut. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Carol requested memorial contributions be made to Davis Prairie Cemetery or Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church in Pittsburg, IL.
