With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos Herman Morse of Marion, Illinois, born in Hurst, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Herman and Lorene Morse (Barker); his daughter Debra Morse; and his brother Richard Morse. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Morse of Marion; his son Scott Morse (Kenya) of Marion; his grandchildren, Brockton Braddy of Marion, Kesler Weeks (Brittany) of Herrin, Devann Weeks (Genesis) of Marion, Alexandria Stacy (Mikel) of Marion and Kirsten Weeks (Joey) of Marion; and his sisters, Shirley Ward of Herrin, Roberta McCoy of Kentucky and Patricia Matiski of Royalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
