Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carl Ray Pritchett of Marion, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 90, on October 6, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claude Pritchett and Libby Helen Pritchett (King); his pet Buddy; and his son Alan R. Pritchett of Marion, IL. He is survived by: his daughter Carla A. Rodd (Bill) of Marion, IL; his grandson Nickolas Rodd of Deltona, FL.; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Rodd, Hailey Rodd of Hayesville, NC, Brantley Rodd of Deltona, FL., Olivia, Ridge and Landry Heyde; his great great grandchild Baylor Rodd of Hayesville, NC.; and his brother Jerry Pritchett (Diane) of Marion, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Research.

“While this message is late in coming since I just learned of Carl Ray's passing via stumbling on Buddy's obituary we send our condolences to his family/neighbors. We would see Carl & Buddy driving around in the side by side and my husband would have frequent conversations with Carl. He was truly a sweet man and we loved to learn about the neighborhood. We were glad to see him return and sitting on his new porch. Figured we'd see him again in the spring. Sorry to hear of his passing. He is missed”
