It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billie Frances Pollard of Marion, Illinois, born in Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Rushing and Ophia Rushing (Comer); her husband Burton Pollard, Jr.; her children, Beth Jean Pollard, Charles David Pollard and Darrel Pollard; her daughter-in-law Debbie Pollard; and her siblings, Charles Culver, Leon, Virgil Rushing and Catherine Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Fleming (Bob) of Marion, Darlene Turner of Punta Gorda, FL, Dwight Pollard (Teresa) of Marion, Lou Sturman (Lois) of Harrisburg and James Delbert Pollard of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE ILLINOIS GOVERNOR, It was recommended if you were planning on attending the visitation or service please wear a mask and social distance yourself from others.
