He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boatright and Madge Boatright (Lanthrum); and his sisters, Peggy, Patty Jo and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Lilly Boatright; his children, Tina Bollman (Scott) and Jason Boatright; his grandchildren, Chelsea Burnett (Drew), Joey Phillips (Nick Bettress) and Zoe Boatright; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Stewart (Toni) and Jackie Stewart (Cheryl).

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the service are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
