Arnita Parker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2023, at the age of 87, Arnita Parker of Marion, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arnita Parker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Pete" Blue and Fannie Irene Blue (Parks); and her brother Ronald. She is survived by: her husband James F. Parker of Marion; her children, Jim Parker (Anne) of Marion, Joy Travelstead (Mark) of Marion and Jeff Parker (Jenny) of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchild Marki Anderson (Brett) of Minneapolis, MN; her children, Gabe Parker (Mady) of Marion, Bailey Parker (Clay Saltzman) of Columbus, IN, Jordyn Parker of Chattanooga, TN and Joci Parker of Chattanooga, TN; her sister-in-law Margery Propes (Richard) of Godfrey, IL; her niece Karen Shaw (Bob); and her great-niece Sarah of Normal, IL. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.

For those who preferred, the family suggested memorial donations be directed to the "First Baptist Church Building Fund" and were mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL 62959.
