With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Joe Samples Sr. of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Lee Samples; and his grandparents, Viola Greeney, Thomas and Hattie Mae Samples. He is survived by: his mother Roma Lee Oneida Samples (Lindsey) of Marion; his sons, Alan Joe Samples Jr. (Andrea) of Johnston City and Ty Marc Perotta of Marion; and his siblings, Gregory Samples (Martha) of Dongola and Rebecca Mae McGee (Dave) of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
