We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Adelheid Poland of Marion, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Spohn and Gertrude Spohn; and her sons, Jimmy Poland and Michael Poland. She is survived by: her children, John Poland (Angie) and Linda Alltenberger (Chris); and her grandchildren, Tara Poland, Chris Poland, Jimmy, Natalie Poland, Justin, Destiny Simpson, Brittany, Anthony Jones, Kody and Kory Fann.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home -Marion (1704 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (1300 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Marion Carnegie Library, a place that held a special place in Adelheid's heart.
