He was predeceased by: his wife Karen J. Klein; his parents, Henry J. Klein and Christine Ann Klein (Rosen); his siblings, Patricia Bleisch, Ethel Hunter, Lorraine Poelker, Genevieve Daniels, Charles Klein, Robert Klein and Henry Klein; and his nephew James Klein.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald S. Klein (Patti) of Troy, IL, Darren L. Klein (Leah) of Highland, IL and Barry J. Klein (Brida) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon D. Klein (Kayla), Jessica L. Hunt (Dwayne), Bret A. Klein (Julie), Erik S. Klein (Anya), Ethan C. Klein (Ashlee), Wesley C. Klein (Jessie), Evan A. Klein, Caleb J. Klein, Todd Smith and Brian Smith; his great grandchildren, Reilly Klein, Mackenzie Klein, Ava Klein, Avery Hunt, Grayson Hunt and Sunny Klein; and his brother-in-law Cletus Bleisch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
