He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Franklin Millett and Clara Millett (Denham); his former wife Nina Fish; his son Lawrence Millett; his father-in-law Davorin Carr; and his brothers-in-law, Blaine Pendley and Robert Sammelman.
He is survived by: his wife Denice Millett (Carr); his daughters, Patricia Millett (Robert King) of Alexandria, VA and Joan Millett of Marine, IL; his stepson Jon Taylor of Troy, IL; his sister Barbara Pendley of Gettysburg, PA; his daughter-in-law Jodie Rai of Clayton, MO; his grandchildren, Richard Millett (Sabina), Matthew Millett, Claire Millett, David King, Elizabeth King, Ashlei Taylor (Joaquin Arana), Courtnie Taylor and Lian Taylor; his great grandchild Neil Millett; his mother-in-law Marilyn Carr; his siblings-in-law, Deborah Carr, Dana Hutchings (Charles), Deanna Sammelman and David Carr (Lillian); his nieces and nephews, Kristen Nelson (David), Jill Neeman (Collin), Brittany Picha (Tyler), Johanna Carr, David Carr and Eric Radake; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Harry, Sam Nelson, Demi Picha and Caroline Neeman.
Richard was a man of deep Christian faith and, during the pandemic, he started a Sunday afternoon Zoom group on living our faith in this changing world.
