He was predeceased by: his parents, John Crain and Eileen Crain; his daughter Kathy Barker; and his brother Jack Crain. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Crain; his children, Lisa Gjerswald, Chris Becker, John Crain and Brian Crain (Tassandra Hambry); his son-in-law Jerry Barker; his grandchildren, Jamie Hollen, Lindsey Rohlman (Louis) and Mackenzie Becker; his great grandchildren, Akardia King and Tiyon Chatman Jr.; and his niece Terry Ryder (Charles).
