Meier, Irene Kantner and Elnora "Eleanor" M. Hamann; and his half-siblings, Lewis Hamann, Henrietta Buske and Alvera Volentine.

He is survived by: his daughters, Hope A. L. Washburn (Larry) of Greenville, IL. and Charlotte H. R. Smith (Michael) of Greenville, IL; his grandchildren, Kayla Washburn (Alan Scholler), Kyle Washburn (Katlyn), Alex Schneider (Sasha), Max Schneider, Kyle Smith and Gabrielle Oglesby; his siblings, Elmer Hamann (Margaret) of Pfafftown, NC, Norman Hamann (Judith) of Moro, IL, Harold Hamann of Worden, IL and Betty Hefferman (Lawrence) of Edwardsville, IL.; and his former wife Ruth Ann Hamann of Greenville, IL..
