She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewie Hodgkins and Esther Hodgkins (Williamson); her husband Walter L. "Bud" Richey; her siblings, Evelyn Wertz, Noel and Stephen Hodgkins; her grandson Otto Gossage III; and her son-in-law Leonard Paul.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Jo Gossage (Otto) of Marietta, IL, Sheila L. Paul of Smithfield, IL and Jodi Lea Berger (Bill) of Marietta, IL; her grandchildren, David, Shane Gossage, Ledena Clark (Franki), Letisha Trepac (Kris), Tyson, Bradley Berger and Jana VanNattan (Ed); and her sisters, Nancy Trone (Mike) of Smithfield, IL, Cheryl Medina of Galesburg, IL, Janice Swise of Ipava, IL, Judy Buttons of Dacona, CO, Sue Stafford (Roy) of Ipava, IL, Sharon Ford (Harry) of Marietta, IL and Patrica Housh of Washington, IL.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
