She was predeceased by: her parents, William Havens and Vada Havens (Postin); her husband Roland "Gene" Thompson; and her siblings, Alice Head, Betty English, Bill Havens, Frank Havens, Wilma Virag, Jim Havens, Susie Benham and Bob Havens.
She is survived by: her children, Roland "Tug" Thompson (Nita) of Vermont, IL and Alice Smith (Steve) of Decatur, AL; and her siblings, Ronnie Havens of Tennessee, IL, Birtie Winters of New York, Shirley Grahm of Cuba, IL and Sara Stehl of Marietta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
