She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Brooks and Elizabeth Brooks (Abernathy); and her niece Lisa Parry. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Thomas of Marietta, IL, Trissy Havens (Donnie) of Bushnell, IL and Kitty Thompson (Ben) of Roseville, IL; and her siblings, Patricia Brush (Gary) of Ipava, IL, Jerry Brooks (Jennifer) of Marietta, IL and Gary "Rico" Brooks (Kim Burgard) of Marietta, IL.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Marietta Fire Department.
