It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Hinz of Marengo, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Schultz and Alma Schultz; her husband Wayne Hinz; and her brother Lester Schultz. She is survived by: her children, Brian Hinz and Jennifer Cordell (Daniel); her grandchildren, Alexandria, Brian Jr., Cheyanne, Kennedy and Hayden; her great grandchild Iris; and her sister Beverly Sawallisch (late Ken). She is also survived by many other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Shirley's name to Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo, IL.
