It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Workowski of Marengo, Illinois, born in Hampshire, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Matthies and Harriet Matthies (Gresens); her husband Emil Workowski; her grandson Brian Michael; and her son-in-law Jerry Pfaffinger.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Workowski (Linda) of Harvard, Judy Andrews (Robert) of Marengo and Jean Kaschub (Mike Hahn) of Elgin; and her son-in-law Wayne Kaschub. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruth's name may be directed to the church.
