She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Shugart (Devereaux) and Harold Shugart; her husband Edward Kanaly; and her siblings, Richard, Kenneth and Susan.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Kanaly (Julie), Brian Kanaly (Geraldine), Kevin Kanaly (Cyndi), Beth Kanaly (Leslie), Jodie Kanaly (Laura) and Scot Kanaly (Bianca); her grandchildren, Matthew (Hannah), Lindsey (Mike), Kelli (Barung), Kimberly (Joseph), Darby, Tyler, Devin and Camden; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Dylan, Madison, Kamden, Isabelle, Samuel and Owen; and her brother John Shugart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
