He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred McLeland and Marjorie McLeland; his wife Sandy; his brother Jan; and his son Randy Rogers.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Rogers (Darrell), Christa Riddington (Ian), Scott McLeland (Kathleen) and Carla Jeanne; his daughter-in-law Chris Rogers; his grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Jonathan, Kaitlyn and Dane; and his nephews, Grant and Gordon McLeland.
