She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hansen and Ora Hansen (Schlorff); her husband Alroy Melahn; her children, Karen and Keith; and her siblings, Richard, Ralph Hansen and Evelyn Conro.

She is survived by: her daughter Orallee Reiser (Dick); her grandchildren, Randy Reiser (Sandy), Chad Reiser (Mindy), Tina, Trisha and Tracie; her siblings-in-law, Bob Conro and Marcine Hansen; and her daughter-in-law Sally Melahn.
