He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Fruin and Theresa Fruin (Lobner); his wife Judith (Judy); his siblings, Bill, George Fruin, Ethel Passer, Marcella Swetz (Sally) and Marie Stromsa; and his siblings-in-law, George Stuehler, George Finzel, George Furo, Joe Finzel, Ludwig Finzel, Marion Fruin and Alice Hosey.

He is survived by: his children, Vicki Lady (Daryl), Tina Stanczak (William), Angela Konicki (John), James Fruin, Brian Fruin (Ruben Knight) and Karina Fruin; his grandchildren, Eris, Shannon Stanczak, Chloe, Colin, Rebecka, Christopher Konicki and Colt Procter (Karina); his sisters, Pat Stuehler and Marlene Furo; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Fruin and Dorothy Van Eyke.
