It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Irene Getzelman-Schultz (Marengo, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thor Thorson and Sophia Thorson; her former husband Lloyd Getzelman; her husband Erhardt Schultz (Charlie); and her siblings, Otto, Frank, Virgil, Morry, Esther, Milldred and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Koplin and Carol Harrington (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jessica Gough, Jennifer Borchert (Tony), Kelsey Harrington (Hartman) and Cody Koplin; her great grandchildren, Shaylee, Logan, Tessa, Callahan, Casper, Mason, Luis and Jude; her sisters-in-law, Linda Thorson and Teresa Euker (Ron); and her nieces, Ruth Anderson and Fran Moye.
