It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Platt of Marengo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Podjasek and Florence Podjasek (Jachowski); her husband Thomas Platt; her stepfather Louis Glowacki Sr.; and her sister Alberta Vinton.

She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Neville (Mark) and James Platt (Michelle); her grandchildren, Benjamin Platt, Maxwell Neville (Shiyao Sun), Mary Grace Neville, William Platt and Allison Kratz; her great grandchild Cole Platt; and her siblings, Jacqueline Gagen, Deborah Keeling and Louis Glowacki Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 St. Jude donation link.
