He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Kasang and Anna Kasang (Blaha); his brother Roy Kasang; and his nephew Gregory Kasang. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Freeman; his children, Daniel Kasang and Jennifer Snelten (Chris); his grandchildren, James Mangum, Kyle Snelten (Samantha), Jessica Allen (Skylar), Daniel Kasang (Stefanie) and Rachel Massie; his great grandchildren, Diana Snelten, Elise Allen and Sadie Snelten; his sister-in-law Joann Kasang; and his nephews, Christopher Kasang (Meg) and Steven Kasang (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church (220 E Harrison St, Belvidere, IL 61008). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
