She was predeceased by: her father William Atkinson; her stepparents, Juanita and James; her brother Michael; and her niece Susan.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Lou Nibbe (Dittman); her husband Alan; her children, Terry Szmergalski (Michael), Kenneth Labbe' (Michelle), Donna Ponziani and Tammy Hufford (Chad); her grandchildren, Kayleigh, Joshua, Isabella, Danielle, Matthew, Brandon, Emily, Amanda, Justin, Stephanie, Ashley, Taylor, Joseph, Chelsea, Eric, Carissa and Nicholas; and her siblings, Penelope, Cherie, Diane, Nancy, Jeanie, Peter and Jimmie. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
