Roderick E. Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick E. Johnson of Maquon, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Margaret Johnson; his son Rod "Roddy" Johnson; and his siblings, Ted Johnson and Margie Pedigo.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia S. Powelson of Galesburg, Larry Johnson of Galesburg and Patty Brimberry of Texas; his stepson Dannie E. Pickel (Jeanie) of Galesburg; his daughter-in-law Fay Johnson of Springfield; his close friend Marilyn Carr of Gilson; and his caregiver Ashley Masters. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
