He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Braten and Neva Braten (Robinson). He is survived by: his wife Claire Jones (Johann); and his children, Angela Braten of Maquon, Jack L. "Bubba" Braten, Jr. (Lori) of Saint Augustine, Tonya Donsbach (Jim) of Maquon, Craig Jones (Brenda) of Maquon and Kenny Jones (Danielle) of Middle Grove, Illinois.
