We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2019, at the age of 81, Donald McGovern (Maquon, Illinois), born in Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur John and Viola Lee McGovern (Wheeler); his wife Patricia Hummel; his children, Tamara A. McGovern and Heath J. McGovern; his grandson Tyler McGovern; and his siblings, James McGovern and Mary Carr.

He is survived by: his children, Michael S. McGovern (Marce) of Beeler, Kelley S. Kohring (Nathan) of Peoria Heights, Daniel D. McGovern (Charlet) of Pekin and Anita D. Novak (David) of Maquon; and his grandchildren, Justin McGovern (Taylor), Cody McGovern (Michelle), Dylan McGovern, William Kohring, Amanda McGovern, Katherine Jenkins (William), Molly McGovern, Anna McGovern, Bradley Novak, Darren Novak, Jared Novak and Brett Novak. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
