He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Hamilton and Leona Francis Meyers (Saupe). He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Cooper; his sons, Erick Lee Meyers (Michele Cassidy) of Peoria, IL and Shannen Lee Meyers (Jennifer Williamson) of Mapleton, IL; his grandchildren, Erin McDowell (Josh), Derick Meyers, Abbey Norwood, Ericka Meyers, Sebastien Meyers, Autumn Meyers, Noah Meyers and Savannah Meyers; and his brother Ronald L. "Ron" Meyers (Marla Curry).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight or Church of Christ Northwest Peoria.
