He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Hardin and Donna Hardin (Harris); his wife Lynnette Smith; his children, Douglas Hardin (Christine), Kristy Cox (Steven) and Kiley Hardin (Olivia); his sisters, Terrie Carton (Vince), Susan Hughes, Nancy Nunn (Kevin) and Donna Utzinger (Skip); his sister-in-law Sherry Grove (Robert); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachary Hardin, Hannah, Molly, Samuel Cox, Sedona and Walker Axsom; his stepfather Bob Norman; and his grandson Seth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
