It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Annette Birkey of Mapleton, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Knorr and Yvonne Knorr (Steiner); her husband Bill Birkey; her sons, Andy Birkey (Brandon Gil), Joe Birkey and David Birkey (Michelle); her granddaughters, Lucille and Madalyn Birkey; her siblings, Sandra Graack (Bill), Patricia Cameron and Richard Knorr (Sherry); and her pets, Giles and Hallie. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
