We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 96, Donald Pille of Mapleton, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pille and Elizabeth Janssen Pille; his granddaughter Christy; his great grandchild Caileigh Hartzler; and his son-in-law Dick Cowell.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Cowell of Morton, Cathy Hartzler (Ric) of Delavan, Steve Pille (Cathy Frietsch) of East Peoria and Stuart Pille (Amy) of Mapleton; his brother Lowell Pille; and his stepchildren, John Rosenbohm (Jane) of Hanna City, Barbara Eisfelder (John) of Jacksonville, Donna Erikson (Bill) of Champaign, Frederick Rosenbohm, Jr. (Miriam) of Peoria, Paul Rosenbohm (June) of Peoria and Julia Haage (John) of Peoria. He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
