He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morris and Florence S. Merry (Amis); and his brother James I. "Jim" Merry. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Elora Isbell; his children, Robert Merry (Dalette) of Lake Camelot, Elaina Cox (Steve) of Low Point and Elora Love (James, III) of Havelock; his grandchildren, Marie C. Trimbl of Lone Pine, LeAnne E. Merry of Lone Pine, Celine Lamierand of Mapleton, Stephen C. Cox of Nashville, Christa Lynn Cox of Germantown Hills and James C. Love, IV of Havelock; his siblings, Greg Merry (Betty) of Kingston Mines, Wanda Klein of Peoria and Renee Farrow of Kingston Mines; and his sister-in-law Coleen Merry of Mapleton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
